yeah, i missed the draft once again. i was at my bosses house for dinner that evening. :: sigh ::

we'll see how mr. favre does for me this year. and hopeful for andre johnson too, not just because he's on my roster, but it's the home team - so, you know - go texans!

Cool

are you aluding to brokering some sort of a deal for mr. favre? he's not going anywhere, at least not for a while. my backup is 'big ben' and due to his nightclub escepades is sitting pretty on a 4-6 game suspension. then he's got to knock the rust off for a few games, so... not sure if/when brett would be made available. i guess we'll see.

Cool

well .. favre will be mine, oh yes. i got stuck with brady and schaub ... so we'll see how that goes downhill.

poor patriots -- last time i had brady he broke his leg in the first drive of the opening game.

yeah - that was really terrible luck. but if schaub has a season like last year, you should be good to go. 4000+ yards.

Cool

good'ish news -- suspension was decreased from 6 to 4 games. on a personal level, i kinda wish that when they showed up asking it to be decreased from 6 to 3 games, the commish said "okay, now it's 9 games -- want to go for more?"

i was brushing my teeth this morning and saw further evidence that either i'm supposed to have favre on my fantasty football team (all season), or that i should trade him away before something goes terribly wrong - i'm not quite sure yet. Razz

i have a few pairs of shorts that i run in, and one of them happens to be a green pair of soccor shorts. when you wash them you're not supposed to stick them in the dryer so i grabbed a couple the cheapy plastic hangers my wife winds up bringing home from the store whenever she buys new clothes to hang them on.

low and behold, as i'm looking in the mirror behind me, i notice my green pair of running shorts hanging on a plastic hanger with a yellow size tag with the number 4 on it.

kinda reminded me of this:

nah you had that wrong -- that was an "oops you screwed up" notification after you dropped your kicker the day before. shouldn't have done that Wink re: favre, you'd be better off just unloading him on the cheap to save face before the season gets too far along Wink

lol. he was my second kicker, which, eh - i know that can make a swing in some games, but i thought it better to add austin collie while the getting was good.

i'll keep that in mind with favre needing to be unloaded. although, and i could be wrong, that would put me in an awkward position considering that big ben won't be on the field for a while.

we shall see.
