Level Designers have been working hard on a bringing a christmas release to the LGI community. This map pack, titled CTF-LGI-FLAGPACK will be coming in the next two weeks. The pack will include from 10-12 maps ranging from 1v1 to 5v5.

I look forward to some good quality LGI Maps. It appears that good new maps for LGI are hard to come by. Might bring back a few UT Elders wanting to try out some new maps.

Yea, as fas as screenies..NOPE..you just gotta wait. These are all original maps, not conversions. There is only one remake in the pack. That one was designed to resemble the original but in no way to be exactly the same.

For any interested parties, we are already talking about a second release with a launch date of the first day of Spring. Any potential level designers can stop by the tdc forums and go to the mapping section to be a part of it. We don't expect epic level talent here but at least a good working knowledge of the ued and some examples of your work.

This pack includes work from the following mappers:

Rayden
Nexxus
Lurker
Flaw
Cypher
Matrix

Stop by and let us know.

this is always a good thing, a map pack specifically for our style of play. i think the one thing which got old far too quickly was playing the same maps over and over, and most of those being remakes of older maps which were played too often (*cough* thorns *cough*). in any case, i'll download it when it's released and i hope it provides a fresh experience. thanks, fellas.

well there were several maps that were good for lgi that never seemed to make it to pubs, or at least never got voted on enough to be introduced to ppl. i still thnik there were some nice maps in some of the last map packs that got released that i personally never saw played on any pubs.

it would be nice, imo, if when this pack is released if some of the server admins started removing some of the older maps from circulation for a period of time in order to force ppl hand into playing some of t he new maps that im sure are guna be terrific if they are givin a chance. but i said this before in other threads reagrding map pack releases and i dont think ppl wanna see this happen, i predict more thorns/barn will still be palyed than the new maps unfortunately Rolling Eyes

You know Tom Hanks, Forrest Gump. Slow, yes. Retarded, maybe. Braces on his legs. But he charmed the pants off Nixon and he won a ping-pong competition? That ain’t retarded.

You went full retard, man. Never go full retard.
