what a moronic idea ... what's to stop them from taking the money, and then switching back? of course there's nothing to prevent it, that's the whole purpose of the plan by design. morons.

nope doesnt bother me at all... i see it as a stunt without much merit or likelihood to succeed. Yet knowing that Afghani people, like most of people of poor Middle Eastern countries, are solely driven by the well being of their family and their financial status, giving them money might work in deterring an out of work Afghani to turn to terrorism. Very small chance.. but I will never think that them and I are on the same payroll. |

lol... bounties. i work in psychological operations for the army, my job is to come up with those bounty programs. obviously, the $50 million bounty on bin laden hasnt been cashed in, but you dont even know of all the bounties claimed for lesser known figures. |
