364-163..... total ownage. Obama won by over 200 electoral votes.

GOP and conservatism are a dying breed. And more educated people voted heavily Democratic and the uneducated people and religious rednecks voted heavily GOP. Nuff said.

Oh btw, I voted for Obama. Very Happy

I personally voted for McCain and I still believe strongly against almost all of Obama's policy's especially on the economy side of things. But now that the steams worn down I just hope all the reasons I did not vote for him, both politically and personally, don't play out badly and he has wisdom to make judgments that will benefit the nation.

Empty platitudes, spoken like a true McCain supporter. Wink

You do realize your guy won, right? Do all Liberals have to be as classless in victory as they are in defeat? <winkie right back atcha>

I understand his concern as-stated. From my vantage, I'm not a big fan of McCain because he was no more a true Conservative than George W. Bush was, but at least he wasn't the most liberal in the Senate. He was the lesser of two weevils. With that said, I liked his stance on foreign policy and thought he would have made a decent president.

But MCain wasn't elected, and I'll write again, in all sincerity, what I wrote the morning after; Congratulations to President-elect Obama. Here's to a peaceful transfer of power, and may the best come out in us all. God bless (all of) America.

It was a joke. I'm aware that it's usually Obama that gets criticized for the lofty, non-descript rhetoric. That's what made it funny. Razz
